Job Summary

Senior QA Analyst / Business Analyst – (8-12 years)

 

Functional / Domain Skills

  • Strong experience in Core Banking concept and Payments processing workflows.
  • Good to have Order Manager processes and payment lifecycle.
  • Experience in SWIFT, ISO20022 (PAIN, PACS and CAMT), SEPA and international payment systems.
  • Experience in reconciliation, payment routing, exception handling, and settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of Oracle/SQL databases.
  • Experience handling production support and incident analysis.
  • Understanding of banking operational processes.

 

Key Responsibilities

QA Skills/Automation skills

  • Strong expertise in Functional, System, Integration, and Regression Testing.
  • Exposure in API testing and Database testing experience with SQL.
  • Experience in defect management tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Python automation.
  • Experience in designing automation frameworks.
  • Knowledge of API automation and data validation automation using Python.

Skill Requirements

Business Analysis (20%)

  • Understand and analyse payment processing workflow.
  • Participate in requirement discussions and impact assessments.
  • Translate business requirements into testable scenarios.
  • Support stakeholders during requirement clarification and solution discussions.
  • Analyse production issues from both business and technical perspectives.

Agile Skills Required

  • Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile management tools.
  • Understanding of User Story creation, Story Point estimation, Definition of Ready (DoR), and Definition of Done (DoD).
  • Experience working in DevOps-driven delivery models with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to independently manage stories, testing activities, and stakeholder communications within a sprint cycle.
