Job Summary

 

We are looking for an experienced PLM Test Lead with strong Siemens Teamcenter expertise to lead end-to-end testing activities across Teamcenter implementation, upgrade, migration, integration, and support initiatives. The role requires expertise in Teamcenter functional processes, integration testing, test automation, quality governance, and stakeholder management.

The candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, leading QA teams, ensuring product quality, and driving successful delivery of Teamcenter solutions within engineering and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the overall testing strategy for Teamcenter programs.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of functional and technical testers.
  • Prepare test plans, effort estimations, test schedules, and quality metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with QA processes and testing standards.
  • Provide regular status reports, risk assessments, and quality updates to stakeholders.

Teamcenter Functional Testing

  • Validate Teamcenter business processes including:
    • Product Structure Management
    • BOM Management
    • Document Management
    • Change Management (ECR/ECO/ECN)
    • Workflow Management
    • Configuration Management
    • Classification & Library Management
    • Release Management
  • Develop and review test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices.
  • Support SIT, UAT, Regression, and Production Validation testing.

Integration Testing

  • Lead validation of Teamcenter integrations with:
    • SAP / ERP systems
    • CAD Applications (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks)
  • Validate interfaces, APIs, data synchronization, and workflows across systems.

Skill Requirements

Teamcenter Expertise

  • Strong experience in Siemens Teamcenter testing.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Teamcenter Architecture
    • BMIDE Customizations
    • Active Workspace (AWC)
    • Workflow Testing
    • Access Manager
    • Change Management Processes
    • Product Structures and BOM Management
    • Classification & Data Management
