Job Summary

Senior Software Test Engineer (QA Automation)

Required Qualifications

  • Design and execute test strategies for AI-enabled web applications, covering functional, integration, and AI model validation scenarios.
  • Validate AI/ML outputs (predictions, vision results, simulations) for accuracy, consistency, bias, and performance across datasets.
  •  Perform API testing for model endpoints, ensuring data integrity and correct inference behavior.
  • Automate UI, API, and AI validation workflows using tools like Cypress/Playwright and Python-based frameworks.
  •  Ensure seamless integration between frontend, backend, and AI services, identifying data, model, and contract issues early.
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to define test datasets, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks for AI features.
  • Support continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines, including automated model validation and monitoring for drift and performance.

Key Skills: AI/ML model validation, test automation (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium), API testing (Postman/REST), Python scripting, data validation, understanding of ML concepts (model accuracy, bias, drift), CI/CD integration, debugging across UI–API–AI layers.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

1. To participate in functional as well as technical discussions with the client /team to understand functional /design specifications ,highlight performance concerns, inconsistencies ,ensure the appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place/kept upto date.
2. To Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies /tools and Implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
3. To oversee the creation and execution of automated test scripts ensuring consistency and alignment with quality standards to minimize exposure.
4. To develop/guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework , enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
