Job Summary

1. Experience with embedded firmware verification and validation activities.

2. Hands-on testing of embedded communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, ADC, RTC, and non-volatile memory.

3. Experience with RTOS-based systems, including timing-sensitive testing, interrupt handling, concurrency, race conditions, deadlocks, and related troubleshooting

4. Test automation experience using Python, Ceedling, or similar embedded test frameworks and scripting environments

5. Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups, target hardware, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bench testing.

6. Experience working in regulated development environments, including requirements-based testing, traceability, verification documentation, and familiarity with IEC 62304.

7. Experience with firmware development environments and tools such as GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, embedded build systems, and IAR or similar toolchains

 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Embedded Software Verification & Validation
  2. Communication protocols testing like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN etc...
  3. Troubleshooting the RTOS based environments and helping the developers fixing the isses
  4. Perform HIL testing
  5. Following documentation procedures as per the IEC 62304 standards
  6. Identify and propose the automation solutions where ever possible
  7.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
