Job Summary
1. Experience with embedded firmware verification and validation activities.
2. Hands-on testing of embedded communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, ADC, RTC, and non-volatile memory.
3. Experience with RTOS-based systems, including timing-sensitive testing, interrupt handling, concurrency, race conditions, deadlocks, and related troubleshooting
4. Test automation experience using Python, Ceedling, or similar embedded test frameworks and scripting environments
5. Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups, target hardware, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bench testing.
6. Experience working in regulated development environments, including requirements-based testing, traceability, verification documentation, and familiarity with IEC 62304.
7. Experience with firmware development environments and tools such as GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, embedded build systems, and IAR or similar toolchains
Key Responsibilities
- Embedded Software Verification & Validation
- Communication protocols testing like I2C, SPI, UART, CAN etc...
- Troubleshooting the RTOS based environments and helping the developers fixing the isses
- Perform HIL testing
- Following documentation procedures as per the IEC 62304 standards
- Identify and propose the automation solutions where ever possible
