Senior Test Lead

Job Summary

Provide a multi-skilled POD for customer-facing integration, feature validation, defect triage, release verification, and issue resolution across telecom network functions and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Understand customer use cases, deployment topology, acceptance criteria, release scope, and operational constraints.
Integrate software builds with dependent network functions, cloud platforms, tools, and external interfaces.
Create and execute end-to-end, feature, regression, interoperability, upgrade, scale, and failure-recovery tests.
Reproduce customer issues, collect logs and traces, isolate faults, and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
Track defects from discovery through triage, fix validation, closure, and customer communication.
Support onsite activities such as environment readiness, joint debugging, demonstrations, acceptance testing, and release cutover.
Automate repetitive test flows, health checks, data collection, and result reporting.
Maintain test plans, topology documents, runbooks, known-issue lists, dashboards, and daily or weekly status.

 

Skill Requirements

1 Experience in Packet Core telecom integration, system testing, or customer validation.
2 Strong Linux, networking, protocol, log-analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
3 Ability to work across multiple network functions, interfaces, cloud layers, and dependent systems.
4 Experience with test planning, defect management, release validation, and customer-facing technical communication.
5 Automation capability using Python, shell, Robot Framework, or equivalent.
6 Ability to collaborate in an onsite-offshore delivery model and handle priority issues.

 

Other Requirements

Knowledge of mobile core, IMS, packet core, orchestration, or cloud-native network functions.
Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, public cloud, traffic generators, protocol analyzers, and observability platforms.
Prior experience in telecom customer labs, production trials, or acceptance testing.
