Job Summary
Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the validation of cloud-native telecom applications and Packet Core CNFs deployed on AWS. The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining automated AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, observability solutions, and validation environments to enable scalable and repeatable testing across AWS Region, Outposts, and Edge deployments. The role will work closely with validation, development, architecture, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Automation
- Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform.
- Automate provisioning of AWS resources including VPCs, EKS clusters, IAM roles, NAT Gateways, Load Balancers, and networking components.
- Maintain reusable infrastructure modules and deployment templates.
CI/CD & DevOps
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
- Automate application deployment, validation execution, evidence collection, and reporting.
- Integrate automated testing and quality gates into the release lifecycle.
Kubernetes & Cloud Platform Operations
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications on Amazon EKS.
- Support installation, upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and lifecycle management of telecom CNFs.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes, networking, storage, and platform-related issues.
Monitoring & Observability
- Implement centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting.
- Analyze logs, metrics, traces, and cloud events to identify infrastructure and application bottlenecks.
- Support performance, resiliency, and capacity validation activities.
Networking & Cloud Validation Support
- Configure and troubleshoot cloud networking components including VPCs, Route Tables, Security Groups, Transit Gateways, and Load Balancers.
- Support BGP and advanced networking validation activities.
- Assist validation teams in AWS Region, Outposts, and Edge deployments.
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work with development, validation, security, and customer teams.
- Create deployment guides, architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Participate in release readiness reviews and production support activities.

- Telecom Packet Core or 5G CNF deployment experience.
- Multus, SR-IOV, DPDK, HugePages exposure.
- Robot Framework integration experience.
- BGP and Kubernetes networking expertise.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
Telecom Domain Advantage
Candidates with experience in the following will be highly preferred:
- Packet Core CNFs (CMG, CMM, NRD)
- UPF, AMF, MME, SMF, SGW/PGW
- 4G/5G Core networks
- CNF deployment and validation
- Telecom cloud-native platforms
- Performance and resiliency testing environments
