Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Electrical Engineer (EE) to support power validation and characterization of AI silicon. The ideal candidate has strong EE fundamentals, experience with power/TDP characterization and voltage-rail measurements, and exposure to emulation platforms.
Responsibilities
- Execute TDP and power characterization across workloads and operating conditions.
- Perform voltage, current, power, ripple/noise, and power-rail measurements on boards and systems.
- Characterize power behavior across voltage, frequency, temperature, and workload conditions.
- Set up and instrument boards for accurate power measurements and data collection.
- Debug power-related issues using scopes, DMMs, power analyzers, current probes, and other EE equipment.
- Analyze power data, identify anomalies, and work with design, validation, firmware, and platform teams.
- Run power-related validation on emulation platforms and correlate results with silicon where applicable.
- Automate data collection and analysis where possible.
Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with power validation, characterization, or board-level electrical measurements.
- Experience with TDP/power characterization and voltage-rail measurements.
- Strong understanding of power delivery, voltage regulators, current measurement, and board-level power architecture.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power analyzers, current probes, and related equipment.
- Emulation experience, such as Palladium, Zebu, or equivalent platforms, strongly preferred.
- Experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, CPUs, server silicon, or complex SoCs preferred.
- Python or other scripting experience for automation and data analysis is a plus.
Ideal candidate: An EE who has done hands-on silicon/board power characterization, understands how to accurately measure and debug power rails, can execute TDP characterization, and has experience working with emulation and silicon validation environments.
