Job Summary
The Senior Test Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software through the design, execution, and optimization of comprehensive testing strategies. Key Responsibilities
1. Design And Implement Thorough Test Plans For Complex Embedded Software Features And Modules, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage And Validation Of Functionality.
2. Utilize Automation Tools Such As Selenium Or Testcomplete To Enhance Test Efficiency And Effectiveness, While Advocating For Timely Fixes And Upholding Quality Assurance Best Practices.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Meticulously Document Software Defects Using Tools Like Jira Or Bugzilla According To Established Protocols To Ensure Traceability And Resolution.
4. Collaborate Proactively With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions, Actively Participating In Test Reviews To Drive Continuous Improvement And Share Best Practices Across Teams.
5. Stay Current With The Latest Trends And Advancements In Testing Technologies, Contributing To The Creation And Maintenance Of Robust Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries, While Implementing Innovative Testing Approaches To Address The Complexities Of Evolving Embedded Software.
