Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
Lead and manage a large engineering operations team (50+ members) supporting a
high‑tech client.
Lead 24/7 operations and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Oversee day‑to‑day business operations, resolving complex issues and implementing
scalable processes.
Proactively manage deliverables to ensure alignment with defined Service Level
Objectives (SLOs).
Focus on streamlining processes, improving quality of deliverables, improving KPIs /
SLAs for Turnaround time, Mean time to resolve (MTTR) and first-time right deliverables.
Perform quality control on projects to ensure standards initially set are met.
Provide clear, timely communication on project status, risks, and progress to internal and
external stakeholders.
Demonstrates strong political awareness and sensitivity to organizational dynamics,
adapting communication and approach to different stakeholder interests and
environments.
Own stakeholder communications and participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for
critical, high‑visibility incidents.
Prepare and present Weekly Status Reports, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly
Business Reviews and report on delivery progress and milestone attainment.
Propose continuous improvement initiatives for the team by establishing checkpoints to
prevent process deficiencies.
Define and document Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Service Level Agreement
(SLA) methodologies to drive quality enhancements.
Identify and mitigate delivery risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues and escalations.
Support hiring, onboarding, and team development activities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project and operational documentation.
Manage and motivate team to perform as per customer's expectations.
Technical Skills
Possess a strong understanding of SIP and MSRP protocols.
Exhibit sound knowledge of IMS/RCS Architecture.
Possess hands-on experience with end-to-end RCS call flows, including one-to-one and
group chat.
Knowledge of Session Border Gateways (SBG) is considered advantageous.
Demonstrate strong debugging skills at the protocol level (e.g., SIP, MSRP, TCP).
Possess hands-on experience with analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Maintain the ability to work in rotational shifts and demonstrate flexibility within a 24/7
environment.
Possess experience in Android application debugging, including the ability to capture
Bug reports, logcat, and utilize adb commands.
Be experienced in reporting bugs on recognized bug tracking tools and possess a
thorough understanding of the bug life cycle and its stages.
Requirements:
Possess overall 18-22 years of experience managing large scale partner support /
technical customer support projects, including 10+ years in the telecommunications
industry.
Experience in managing a multicultural team, preferably in a large-scale IT organization
Self-Driven and Exceptional organizational, time management, and verbal and written
communication skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter who is eager and effective at solving problems.
Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly independent environment and juggle multiple
ongoing projects, responsibilities, and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
2. Utilize Python Automation Frameworks And Tools To Enhance Test Efficiency, Advocating For Timely Defect Resolutions And Implementing Quality Assurance Best Practices.
3. Identify, Reproduce, And Document Software Defects Within Networking Applications, Adhering To Established Testing Procedures To Maintain High Standards Of Quality.
4. Collaborate With Developers To Analyze, Prioritize, And Verify Defect Resolutions In Networking Systems, Participating Actively In Test Reviews To Promote Continuous Improvement And Knowledge Sharing.
5. Stay Current With The Latest Trends In Networking Testing Technologies, Contributing To The Development And Maintenance Of Test Automation Frameworks And Libraries, While Implementing Innovative Testing Approaches To Address The Complexities Of Modern Networking Software.
