Senior Test Specialist - Software Testing, Appium, Microsoft UI Automation

Job Summary

The Senior Test Specialist in Software Testing, Mobile Appium, and UI automation will be responsible for driving and executing the testing strategy for mobile applications while ensuring adherence to quality standards. The role involves designing and implementing test scenarios, conducting tests, and identifying defects to ensure robust and high-quality mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile applications using industry leading tools and frameworks.
2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of mobile applications.
3. Perform mobile ui automation testing using appium to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
4. Identify and report software defects, troubleshoot issues, and work towards timely resolution.
5. Continuously improve testing processes and strategies to optimize quality and efficiency.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile application testing to enhance the testing procedures.

Skill Requirements

1. Strong proficiency in software testing methodologies and concepts.
2. Experience in mobile app testing, especially on android and ios platforms.
3. Proficient in using automation tools like appium for mobile testing.
4. Knowledge of ui automation testing and frameworks.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Software Testing, Mobile App Testing, or Appium would be a plus.
