Job Summary
Nissan Job id 23817 & 23818-We are looking for a QA Engineer who can work on API testing, mobile app validation, and automation. The role requires good understanding of agile practices and solid knowledge of testing processes.
Responsibilities
• Test APIs and mobile apps for functionality, performance, and stability.
• Create and maintain automation scripts using Rest Assured, Playwright API, or similar tools.
• Support mobile automation using Appium or other frameworks (added advantage).
• Review requirements and prepare test scenarios, cases, and reports.
• Work closely with developers and product teams in an agile environment.
• Log defects, track them to closure, and ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to improving test processes and automation coverage.
Required Skills
• Strong experience in API testing and automation.
• Basic to moderate experience in mobile testing; automation experience is a plus.
• Good understanding of agile workflows and testing lifecycle.
• Ability to analyse issues, debug failures, and work on root-cause identification.
Good to Have
• CI/CD exposure (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, k6)
• Awareness of AI in testing
Key Responsibilities
2. To utilize automation tools and frameworks to increase test efficiency , proactively advocate for timely fixes and quality assurance best practices.
3. To identify, reproduce, and document software defects according to established procedures.
4. To proactively partner with developers to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, while actively participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
5. To stay up-to-date with the latest testing technology trends , contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks/ libraries and proactively Implement innovative testing approaches to address evolving software complexities.
