Job Summary

The Senior Test Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software code through rigorous testing procedures. This role involves analyzing functional specifications, designing and executing test cases, and collaborating with team members and clients to deliver high-quality software that meets client requirements. The Senior Test Engineer is instrumental in maintaining quality standards and contributing to the overall success of the project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Utilizing Python To Automate Testing Processes And Improve Efficiency.
2. Execute Functional Testing And Regression Testing As Per The Test Plan And Respective Test Cases, Ensuring That All Functionalities Meet The Defined Quality Standards.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans, Leveraging Solid Understanding Of 5G/4Glte/3G Testing Methodologies To Identify Key Testing Strategies And Practices.
4. Track Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics Using Python Scripts For Data Analysis, And Publish Progress Reports To Stakeholders To Ensure Transparency Of Testing Outcomes.
5. Coordinate Discussions With The Testing Team And Engage With Clients For Updates On Testing Progress And Defect Resolutions, Fostering Clear Communication And Collaboration.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Python Programming And Scripting For Test Automation.
2. Strong Understanding Of 5G/4Glte/3G Testing Methodologies.
3. Familiarity With Software Testing Tools And Frameworks.
4. Ability To Analyze Functional Specifications And Develop Comprehensive Test Cases.
