Job Summary
Job Description:
This position exists in EHE System Validation function to develop Test cases from Vehicle Function Requirements, Perform System Integration Validation for upcoming Model year programs as part of EHE System Validation function.
This position(s) reports to Test Responsible/ Discipline Manager and supports him/her in Issues Life Cycle management, Test Reports preparation and delivering Testing related KPI to meet QCTP targets as defined for the product launch as per PDP timelines.
Key activities of Validation Engineer are listed as below:
- Test Case development
- Test Execution using HIL, PWB and Vehicles
- Test Reports preparation and Issues management
- Requirements Analysis and reporting
- Support in meeting KPI and QCTP targets
Skill Requirements :
- Good Knowledge in Vehicle features of Passenger cars
- Good Knowledge in Validation Methodologies & Architecture such as V-Model, Agile, etc.
- Good experience in Functional & Diagnostics Validation for Vehicle features on HIL - Test Properties.
- Good experience in Testcase development - Manual & Automation method for Vehicle features on HIL - Test Properties.
- Sound knowledge and hands on with HIL (Hardware in Loop) system hardware and testing tools such as dSPACE.
- Experience in communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS and Diagnostics Protocols/Standards.
- Test Automation Experience using tools such as Automation desk, Python.
- Hands-on experience in HIL Testing tools such as Control desk, Vector CANoe.
- Issue management and preparation of Test Reports
- Good understanding on ECU hardware and Interfaces
- Strong in problem solving skills.
- Clear and concise spoken and written communication skills.
- Ability to learn/adapt to new HIL environment & tools.
- Engineers - min. 3years with B.E. or M.E., Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering
Onboarding is awaited by first week of July 2026 for the duration of 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
2. Perform automotive hil testing using appropriate tools and equipment
3. Collaborate within team to identify and troubleshoot software defects
4. Participate in the design and development of testing frameworks for automotive applications
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to automotive software testing
Skill Requirements
2. Solid knowledge with hands-on experience of testing techniques and methodologies in an automotive environment
3. Solid theoretical knowledge of industry standards and regulations for automotive software
4. Ability to work effectively in cross functional teams and communicate complex technical issues clearly through hands-on experience
5. Attention to detail and basic analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem-solving through hands-on experience
