Job Summary
Performs on-site installation, service, modification, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs on-site installation, service, modification, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnosis, troubleshooting, Preventative maintenance, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
- Maintains records and reports as required.
- Coordinates activities with peers, supervisor(s) and customers to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions.
- Orders and installs parts.
- Responds to emergency service calls and willingness to work on shifts including weekends as required.
- Instructs customer operating technicians on system operation and maintenance.
- Performs upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed.
- Remains current on equipment/tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials.
- Follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which solutions can be readily obtained.
- Incumbents are responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and security of company property including vehicles, tools, etc.
- Employees must also maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both TEL and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s).
- Interpret customers’ needs and clarify the responsibility for problem resolution. Maintain daily communication, build effective customer relationships
- Build customer trust both internally & externally, respect diversity and collaborate with the team and colleagues effectively
- Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Must work in a TFE safe manner daily and ensure that all safety measures are always taken.
- Needs to have strong sprit to meet sudden ECO (Engineering Change Order) from TFE’s clients by several times with strong clam sprit
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Flexibility to work overtime if requested by TFE
- Must keep information confidential
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, electrical schematics, gases knowledge.
- Can understand detailed instructions (in English) and carry out related work accurately every time.
- Cleanroom Basic training and basic industry safety training.
- Basic understanding of semiconductor industry

English Business Level (Must),
Japanese N3 or N4 level (Preferred)
