Job Summary

Role Description 

We are looking for Junior C++ / PyTorch AI Framework Engineers to support development, debugging and validation of software for AI/deep-learning frameworks and hardware accelerators. 

The role involves C++ and Python development, software analysis, bug fixing, implementation of tests and validation of AI framework components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software components using C++ and Python. 

  • Support implementation of features for PyTorch and AI framework components. 

  • Analyze existing code and investigate software defects. 

  • Implement bug fixes and code changes. 

  • Develop unit and automated tests

    • Execute software validation and analyze test results. 

    • Work with hardware/test platforms where required. 

    • Prepare code patches and code snippets. 

    • Document defects and dependencies on other software components. 

    • Follow established coding, testing and code-review guidelines. 

    • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams.

Skill Requirements

  • Good knowledge of C++. 

  • Working knowledge of Python. 

  • Basic/working knowledge of Linux. 

  • Software development fundamentals. 

  • Basic understanding of machine learning/deep learning. 

  • Familiarity with PyTorch or another deep-learning framework. 

  • Basic understanding of software testing and debugging. 

  • Git or another source-control system. 

  • Good problem-solving capability. 

  • Good written and spoken English. 

  • Ability to work onsite in Gdańsk when hardware/laboratory access is required. 

Other Requirements

  • PyTorch development/project experience. 

  • NumPy / pytest. 

  • GPU or accelerator exposure. 

  • CUDA, SYCL, oneAPI, OpenCL or similar. 

  • HPC or numerical computing. 

  • CMake / GDB. 

  • Understanding of tensors and deep-learning operators. 

  • Open-source contribution experience.
