SeniorAdministrator - Mainframe SysOps & Batch Scheduling Tools

Job Summary

Provide first-level (L1) operational support for CICS environments to ensure continuous availability and fast incident response.  Key Responsibilities\\\\r\\\\n1. Monitor CICS regions, transactions, and system alerts\\\\r\\\\n2. Perform operator activities (console commands, job monitoring, message handling)\\\\r\\\\n3. Handle initial incident response (restart regions, basic checks, follow runbooks)\\\\r\\\\n4. Execute basic CICS commands (CEMT, start/stop regions, check files/queues)\\\\r\\\\n5. Coordinate with batch (Control-M), DB2, and middleware teams\\\\r\\\\n6. Support DR activities (region startup, failover execution)\\\\r\\\\n7. Escalate issues to L2 teams when required\\\\r\\\\n8. Maintain shift reports and incident logs\\\\r\\\\nRequired Skills\\\\r\\\\n1. knowledge of CICS and z/OS Beside operators skills \\\\r\\\\n2. Familiarity with console operations and batch monitoring\\\\r\\\\n3. Understanding of incident handling and escalation\\\\r\\\\n4. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Omegamon, MainView) is a plus
