Job Summary

The Sr Administrator for Support & Operations plays a crucial role in delivering advanced technical support and troubleshooting for LAN/WAN, Wireless WLAN (Cisco), and SDWAN solutions. This position is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective incident resolution and implementing robust security measures. The role demands a proactive approach to managing complex technical issues and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center environments.
  • Monitor, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network incidents to restore services within defined SLAs.
  • Handle escalated issues from L1 and perform in-depth troubleshooting before escalating to L3 when required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Perform day-to-day network administration, including configuration changes, validation, and documentation in line with change management processes.
  • Coordinate with vendors and circuit providers for issue resolution and service restoration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network configurations, changes, and operational procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, industry standards, and security requirements.

Skill Requirements

  • Strong experience working with network technologies across LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Data Center environments.
  • Hands-on experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HP Aruba, Ubiquiti, F5, and Citrix Netscaler.
  • Strong troubleshooting expertise in routing, switching, load balancing, and wireless protocols.
  • Experience with network monitoring and ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, SolarWinds, PRTG).
  • Good understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (Ccna), Cisco Certified Network Professional (Ccnp) In Routing And Switching Or Wireless, And Itil Foundation Certification
