Job Summary

  • Recommendation of Cloud Service Models based on discovery and workshops
  • Installation and configuration of Cloud discovery tools create application stacks and dependency charts
  • Provide Security and compliance management with centralized threat analysis and remediation
  • Worked on system and application management in production and non- production environment
  • Optimization of tools and systems used to operate and sustain SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services
  • Analysing data captured from various source like CMDB, assessment tools, workshops questionnaires etc.
  • Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques
  • Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Support the Technical consultant and Assessment Lead in Application/Infrastructure discovery process
  • Consolidate the application data, infrastructure data and any other relevant data provided by customers/tools during the Cloud discovery and assessment project.
  • Work on data analysis based on Cloud discovery tool(s) and customer provided data.
  • Experience working directly with users to build reports, dashboards and solving business questions with data.
  • Supported multiple projects end to end for cloud migration planning, assessment and craft phase.
  • Good hands-on experience on MS Excel
  • Provided remediation and treatment Plans
  • Understanding Cloud Deployment Models
    Good Understanding on cloud terminologies and other technical terms like hostnames, middleware’s, infra specific

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Validating the availability of discovery tool pre-requisites
  • Deployment of discovery tool and troubleshooting (if any)
  • Understanding of basic information about Windows / Linux servers , Networks etc
  • Good Troubleshooting skills
  • Data collection / cleansing / analysis
  • Design and build new data set processes for modelling, data mining
  • Handson exp on any  discovery tool
  • Implementation knowledge for tools like Cloudscape/ Cloudamize/ Movere/ Azure Migrate etc
  • Assisting the project team with findings from the assessment data for analysis

Final consolidation of captured data and report creation

Skill Requirements

  • Full Stack Monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting including network Storage, OS, Compute service & applications
  • Customer centric and realize the value of providing excellent customer service
  • Incident management including root cause analysis and remediation

 

Other Requirements

  • Knowledge on Public Cloud Platforms specially AWS, Azure and GCP
    Any certificate on any of the public cloud will be added advantage
