Job Summary
NetApp/Netapp CVO storage (block/file) provisioning and management.\\r\\n• Implement production change activities for routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance to ensure high availability for all devices.\\r\\n• Be available for an on-call rotation with the ability to troubleshoot and communicate outside of normal business hours.\\r\\n• Assist with storage and backup analysis, capacity planning, and performance planning of storage components.\\r\\n• Writing administrative scripts and utilize other automation tools.\\r\\n• Configure and maintain backups.\\r\\n• Perform data/system recovery.\\r\\n• Support implementation of storage software upgrades (NetApp ONTAP and Cloud Volume ONTAP)\\r\\n• Manages day-to-day operations activities that includes but not limited to: change implementation, major incident triage, task organization, SLA/SLO, audit, and problem management.\\r\\n• Configure/maintain replication, encryption, allocation/reclaims, storage efficiency, etc.\\r\\n• Review operations issues/risks, evaluate, and present mitigation options.\\r\\n• Develops strategy to stay current and supporting upcoming storage and backup technologies.\\r\\n• Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, that requires minimal direction and seeks guidance where needed.\\r\\n• Monitor production systems in multiple data centers.
Key Responsibilities
Operate system internals, file system structures and machine architectures in a Linux operating environment; and \\r\\nApache, DNS, Send mail, SSH, TCP/IP, and NFS. \\r\\nSupport services before they go live through activities such as system design consulting, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning and launch reviews. \\r\\nScale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity. \\r\\nWork with product team to define SLA, SLO, monitoring/telemetry pattern and stability across from customer standpoint. \\r\\nHelp product team gain momentum and velocity for hassle free development across BTP, Hyperscaler, K8S. \\r\\nBuild, Manage, Scale and Right size/TCO initiatives across SAP Hyperscaler(4+1) strategy towards cloud spend management. \\r\\nEngage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through to deployment, operation, and refinement.
Skill Requirements
