Job Summary

Job Summary : The Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) platform, ensuring platform reliability, operational stability, and automation of infrastructure and deployment processes. The engineer will work closely with development, platform, and operations teams to support cloud-native applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters and containerized applications. Administer and troubleshoot Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers. Build, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, or Harness. Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Monitor platform health and availability using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, FluentD, and Azure Monitor. Troubleshoot production issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Support production deployments, patching activities, and infrastructure changes. Automate operational tasks using Shell and Python scripting. Participate in on-call rotations and incident management activities. Collaborate with application teams for deployment and infrastructure support. Support Kubernetes cluster upgrades, node management, and configuration changes. Ensure adherence to security and operational best practices.

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : Knowledge and hands on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform HCL or Azure ARM Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) Knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud Native Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, LXC, Helm, Prometheus Knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins, Harness Understanding Java, JVM and application server concepts Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP, VPN, DNS, TLS) Basic knowledge of Computer security Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Self-motivated & willing to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Able to take direction and then deliver work autonomously Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment Comfortable working remotely with people in other geographic regions
