Job Summary

MSSQL Admin, 4–5 years of hands-on experience managing SQL Server environments in production. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance tuning, security, and efficient data management across enterprise-grade SQL Server databases

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server instances.Perform database monitoring, backups, and recovery operations.Optimize performance using tools like Query Store, Execution Plans, and Indexing strategies.Implement and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions (e.g., AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Replication, Clustering).Manage security (roles, permissions, audits) and ensure compliance with organizational policies.Work with application and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and data migrations.Write and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, jobs, and automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell).Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, deadlocks, blocking, slow queries.Generate documentation for database standards, procedures, and system architecture s.

Skill Requirements

4–5 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA.Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2014/2016/2019.Expertise in backup/restore, indexing, performance tuning, and query optimization.Experience with SQL Server Agent, SSMS, and monitoring tools.Familiarity with PowerShell scripting or automation tools.Understanding of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and basic networking.Good communication and documentation skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Other Requirements
