Job Summary
Job Summary : ESM manages Morgan Stanley\'s IT inventory and asset data, which is critical for regulatory, operational and efficiency purposes. We are moving several legacy asset and configuration management tools onto one strategic ServiceNow platform. We\'re hiring a Data Analyst to drive CMDB data onboarding and data quality improvements as part of that move. The role splits between working with stakeholders and hands-on technical delivery.
Job Description : • ServiceNow platform knowledge\\\\r\\\\n• Experience with IT inventory systems or data center equipment\\\\r\\\\n• Understanding of data governance concepts\\\\r\\\\n• Experience with data analytics or visualization tools\\\\r\\\\n• Agile/DevOps experience\\\\r\\\\n
Key Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities : • Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders and data consumers • Analyze legacy and target data to find gaps and quality issues • Build pipelines to load and transform data into ServiceNow • Measure, report on and improve data quality • Review code and mentor junior team members
Skill Requirements
Skill Requirement : • Strong SQL and relational database skills • Strong Python skills • Experience working in Unix environments • Experience working directly with data consumers • Experience navigating large, complex IT environments • Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently
