Job Summary

L2 Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and policy administration of AppGate ZTNA and iBoss Secure Web Gateway (SWG) platforms in a enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network security, systems operations environment. • Minimum 1–2 years working directly with Appgate SDP (ZTNA) and cloud-managed iBoss Secure Web Gateway (SWG) architectures. • Handle incident, request, and change management tickets within SLA • Perform policy and configuration changes using Config-as-Code (CaC) workflows validate changes through CI/CD pipelines and change governance processes • Familiarity with pipeline tools (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) to run validation testing and automate platform API calls. • Troubleshoot ZTNA access issues (authentication, entitlement, connectivity) and SWG issues (URL filtering, access blocks, SSL inspection) • Monitor and maintain web content filtering, malware defense, and data loss prevention (DLP) rules across the iboss cloud environment • Assist with log pipeline delivery and cross-platform health checks (e.g., iboss telemetry syncing into SIEM or Endpoint tools)

Skill Requirements

Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for access-related issues • Good understanding of Zero Trust / SASE architecture principles • Ability to correlate issues across layers (endpoint → network → ZTNA → SWG → application) • Experience in incident management and SLA-driven delivery • Knowledge of policy-based access control and proxy behavior • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical teams • Proactive mindset toward problem management and automation opportunities
