Job Summary
BCP / DR Manager (Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery) BCP/DR Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and governing Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies across IT services and business functions. The role ensures service resilience, regulatory compliance, and rapid recovery of critical services during disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
1Key Responsibilities: Define and maintain enterprise-wide BCP and IT Disaster Recovery strategies aligned to business objectives. Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments to identify critical services, RTOs, and RPOs. Design, implement, and govern DR architectures across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and workplace services. Plan and execute BCP/DR drills, simulations, and failover tests, ensuring documented outcomes and improvements. Maintain BCP/DR plans, runbooks, and recovery procedures across all towers. Coordinate with IT, Security, Cloud, Networks, DWP, and Application teams during resilience planning and incidents. Ensure compliance with ISO 22301, ISO 27001, regulatory, and audit requirements. Act as the BCP/DR lead during major incidents and crisis situations. Drive continuous improvement based on lessons learned, audit findings, and incident reviews. Provide regular BCP/DR readiness reports to leadership and stakeholders.
Skill Requirements
1Key Skills & Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of: Business Continuity Management (BCM) IT Disaster Recovery planning and execution High Availability (HA), backup, replication, and failover designs Experience across: On-prem and Cloud DR (Azure/AWS) Networks, Data Centers, End-user services, and ITSM Familiarity with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM tools for incident and crisis workflows. Strong knowledge of risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks. Ability to lead crisis management and war-room communications
Other Requirements
Experience & Qualifications: 10–15+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in BCP/DR or resilience roles Experience in large enterprise or managed services environments Certifications preferred: ISO 22301 (BCMS) ITIL Cloud DR certifications (Azure/AWS) Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
