Ability to analysis critical factors impacting the recovery activities and success. \r\n• Should have undergone specialized training / Certification in Disaster Recovery & Management.\r\n• Task Coordination and Project Management skills \r\n• Network / Security / Storage / Backup Technology related experience. \r\n• Virtualization technology experience would be added advantage. \r\n• Communication & Presentation Skills.\r\n• Ability to write grammatically correct and error-free reports\r\n

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate to Plan & exercising of recovery testing \r\n• Fair understanding of recovery strategies and various Infrastructure Technologies – Like Storage, Backup, Networks, Security and Operating Systems (WINTEL, Linux, iseries and AS/400).\r\n• Experience in identification of Technology domain causing incident or issues during a disaster recovery exercise.\r\n• Coordinating and Root Cause Analysis for major incident (Severity 1) during recovery exercises.\r\n• Fair Understanding of Recovery & Resilience management life cycle. \r\n• Experience in determining the adequate test environment drill & test plan requirements \r\n• Coordinating with various technology teams to develop drill Test Plans and Test Evaluation Summaries across heterogeneous infrastructure layers \r\n• Experience in Testing DR environment for datacenter failover and failback\r\n• Drill execution co-ordination, incident / issues tracking during drills \r\n• Experience in recovery testing data collection, analysis and reporting with recommendation of alterations to improve recovery performance \r\n• Management Reporting and presentation skills \r\n• Affluent in tools that enable DR replication and automation\r\n• Contribute in updating business impact analysis / application impact analysis\r\n• Ability to coordinate DR’s drills on public cloud\r\n• Refresh / Update the business impact analysis documents by working with system owners.\r\n• Test and document business continuity plans for HCL provided services from HCL facility and locations\r\n

Other Requirements

Team Member role in the Disaster Recovery Management team that is managing the Recovery service for a HCL Client’s IT environment. The role primarily involves - support Recovery activities plan maintenance, conducting DR exercise Planning, execution coordination during an exercise or true-life recovery invocation activities for a heterogeneous technology environment.\\\\r\\\\nThis role seeks strong Coordination skills with multiple delivery teams to monitor day-to-day recovery readiness and preparedness of the environment and Reporting; coordinating activities during recovery activities execution during drills exercise and disaster declaration scenario.
