Job Summary
Job Summary : Execute RHEL/Linux patching, Red Hat Satellite operations, security remediation and automation with strong troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder communication.
Job Responsibilities : • Perform patch readiness checks, package/kernel updates, reboots, service validation and evidence capture. • Use Red Hat Satellite for host registration, content assignment, patch deployment and compliance tracking. • Troubleshoot repositories, dependencies, kernels, boot issues, filesystems, LVM, networking and services. • Use Ansible and Shell scripts for repeatable patching and validation activities. • Follow approved change and rollback procedures and maintain accurate trackers and runbooks. • Communicate status and risks clearly and escalate complex issues with diagnostic evidence
Job Description : • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.\\\\r\\\\n• RHCSA/RHCE, Ansible or ITIL certification\\\\r\\\\n• Enterprise Linux production-support experience\\\\r\\\\n

Skill Requirement : • RHEL/Linux administration, Yum/DNF/RPM, kernel patching and troubleshooting • Red Hat Satellite operational knowledge • Ansible and Shell scripting • Systemd, LVM, filesystems, networking, repositories and certificates • Security hardening and vulnerability-remediation lifecycle • ServiceNow/change-management and reporting

Other Requirement : • Strong written and spoken English for customer updates and technical handovers • Good ownership, teamwork, documentation and escalation discipline • Ability to coordinate across global teams and planned maintenance windows
