Job Summary
Responsibilities Automation Development: Build, test, and maintain robust, modular, and reusable Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Collections using YAML best practices. Platform Management: Operate and configure Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) / Ansible Tower, including managing inventories, credentials, execution environments, job templates, workflows, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC). L2 Operations & Support: Monitor active automation schedules, analyze logs, and troubleshoot failed playbook runs or deployment issues to minimize system downtime. Configuration & Compliance: Implement secure credential management strategies using Ansible Vault or third-party enterprise secret stores. Automate patching, drift detection, and security baseline remediation across hybrid environments. CI/CD & Version Control: Maintain automation code repositories using standard Git workflows (branching strategies, PR reviews). Integrate Ansible workflows into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
