Job Summary

Role Summary We are seeking an Automation Engineer to drive automation, orchestration, and operational efficiency across IT infrastructure and end-user computing environments. The candidate will design, develop, and implement automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve service quality, and accelerate operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Identify automation opportunities across IT operations, infrastructure, and service delivery processes. Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows, scripts, and reusable frameworks. Automate routine operational activities, monitoring, reporting, patching, provisioning, and remediation tasks. Integrate automation solutions with ITSM, monitoring, cloud, and infrastructure platforms. Develop dashboards and reports to track automation adoption, savings, and operational improvements. Collaborate with technical SMEs, service delivery teams, and stakeholders to define automation roadmaps. Troubleshoot automation failures and perform root cause analysis. Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge repositories. Drive continuous improvement initiatives leveraging Automation, AI, and GenAI capabilities

echnical Skills PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Shell Scripting Power Automate, Power Apps REST APIs, JSON, XML Automation Anywhere / UiPath (preferred) Azure Automation, Azure Functions ServiceNow integration and workflow automation Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 ecosystem Git, CI/CD concepts, DevOps practices SQL and Reporting tools (Power BI preferred) Preferred Experience Infrastructure automation (AD, Windows, M365, Endpoint Management) IT Operations and Service Management environments AI/GenAI-assisted automation solutions Monitoring and self-healing automation Large-scale enterprise transformation programs Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent stakeholder communication Ability to lead automation workshops and ideation sessions Strong documentation and presentation skills Continuous improvement mindset

Other Requirements

Education & Certifications Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere certifications preferred Ideal for P&G: Candidate should have experience delivering measurable cost savings, productivity improvements, self-healing operations, and automation-led transformation initiatives across enterprise IT environments.
