Description:
HCL AWS Cloud Capability Delivery Unit is looking for experienced customer-focused Containerization Engineer with technical depth and design skills. In this role, he/she will be responsible for Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Docker containers in Customer environment. This includes Implementing automated processes for deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications. The Engineer will also work closely with architect and the development team to design and plan the containerization strategy.

o    Designation – Associate Consultant/Consultant
o    Experience - A minimum of 6 – 8 years of experience in Containerization Engineer DevOps Engineer, or similar role designing and implementing containerization solutions in production environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:

•    Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Docker containers.
•    Implement automated processes for deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
•    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Docker into development and deployment pipeline.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Docker containers and orchestration.
•    Continuously improve our containerization strategies for better efficiency and security.
•    Document containerization processes and maintain version control.
•    Establish CI/CD pipelines for automating the build, test, and deployment processes of containerized. 
•    applications.
•    Ensure the security and compliance of containerized environments through container image scanning, network segmentation, and access controls .
•           Implementation of containerization platforms and tools, including container orchestration systems like 
              Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or similar technologies.
•          Define best practices, standards, and guidelines for container image management, Dockerfile creation, 
             and Kubernetes deployment manifests.
•           Optimize containerized infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
•            Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to track the health and performance of 
              containerized applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide Advanced Technical Support By Utilizing Kubernetes And Terraform To Troubleshoot Complex Incidents, Perform Root Cause Analysis, And Implement Effective Solutions To Resolve Technical And Security Issues.
2. Adhere To Quality Standards And Regulatory Requirements While Managing Incidents And Ensuring Compliance With Company Policies In Support Operations.
3. Develop And Maintain A Knowledge Base By Documenting Solutions And Processes, Facilitating Training For New Team Members, And Coaching Analysts To Enhance Team Capabilities.
4. Resolve Complex Support Tickets Within Agreed Slas By Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams, Ensuring Seamless Operations And Maintaining A Robust Security Posture.
5. Enhance Customer Experience And Satisfaction By Achieving First Call Resolution Targets, Minimizing Rejected Resolutions And Case Reopenings, And Proactively Mitigating Potential Security Threats.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficient In Kubernetes And Terraform With A Solid Understanding Of Aws Paas And Cloud Formation.
2. Strong Knowledge Of Linux Systems And Experience With Eks (Elastic Kubernetes Service).
3. Demonstrated Ability To Perform Root Cause Analysis And Implement Solutions For Complex Technical Issues.
