Job Summary

Scope of Work

 

Project Name: Open Source Enablement for Linux on Z

 

Project Scope: Port open source software (OSS) to the Linux on Z (LoZ) platform. This includes new OSS identified by the

technical lead as well as maintain currency for already ported OSS where new version of the software has been released.

 

Project Deliverables: OSS porting follows a predefined set of guidelines. All source code changes (if required) to enable LoZ

support will be merged with the package maintainer's source code repository (e.g. github); Dockerfile created (if applicable)

and OBS to maintain current with SUSE updated (if applicable). In addition, a receipt (instructions on how to build the

package on LoZ) will be written and provided with source changes.

The required skills for this project include, but not limited to

- Reading, writing and communication skills in English
