Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer – VMware, Nutanix & Azure (E2 Level) Location: Noida, Lucknow Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 5-6 years Reports To: Infrastructure Manager / Cloud Services Lead Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on expertise in VMware virtualization, Nutanix hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI), and Microsoft Azure cloud services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing hybrid IT environments and supporting digital transformation initiatives. --- Key Responsibilities: VMware: (included windows) Supported VMware Virtualization and WINTEL Administration Deploy, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter). Perform VM provisioning, cloning, snapshot management, and resource optimization. Monitor and troubleshoot VMware infrastructure issues. Implement and manage VMware tools such as vMotion, DRS, HA, and vSAN. Upgrade and Maintain VMWARE ESX servers. ESXi Patching, in order to keep the environment up to date. Nutanix: Manage Nutanix clusters (AHV or ESXi-based) and storage configurations. Perform capacity planning, upgrades, and patches on Nutanix environments. Monitor system health using Prism Central/Element. Ensure high availability and performance tuning of Nutanix HCI. Nutanix cluster software and hardware upgrade Nutanix cluster migration Microsoft Azure: Deploy and manage IaaS and PaaS services in Microsoft Azure. Implement and manage Azure VMs, networking, storage, and backup solutions. Monitor and secure Azure environments using native tools like Azure Monitor, Defender, and Security Center. Configure identity and access using Azure Active Directory, RBAC, and policy management. --- Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 7-10 years of hands-on experience with VMware, Nutanix, and Azure. Strong understanding of virtualization, HCI, and cloud computing principles. Experience with PowerShell, CLI tools, and automation frameworks. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. --- Certifications (Preferred): VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or higher Nice to Have: Experience with hybrid cloud setups, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates). Knowledge of security is the best practice and compliance standards.
