Job Summary : L2 Storage & Backup Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities : • Provide L2 support for storage and backup infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance. • Manage and maintain storage environments including NetApp, Dell EMC Unity, and Isilon systems. • Monitor storage systems, perform capacity planning, and ensure optimal utilization. • Handle incident management, problem troubleshooting, and resolution within defined SLAs. • Perform routine activities such as provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and patching of storage systems. • Ensure successful execution of backup jobs & restore. • Maintain proper documentation for SOPs, configurations, and incidents. • Participate in on-call support / shift rotation as required.

Skill Requirements

Skill Requirement : • Strong hands-on experience in NetApp, EMC Unity, and Isilon storage systems. • Understanding of SAN/NAS concepts, RAID, replication, snapshots, and storage protocols (NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC). • Experience in troubleshooting storage and backup-related issues. • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). • Good communication and coordination skills.
