Job Summary

This individual contributor is primarily responsible for monitoring, managing and proving first-level support for enterprise systems, assisting in the implementation of hardware and software changes, and documenting and communicating relevant performance and procedural information.

Bachelor\\\\\\\'s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum three (3) years experience in software development or a related field. \\\\r\\\\nIn lieu of a Bachelor\\\\\\\'s degree, equivalent work experience of three (3) years may be substituted for a total of six (6) years experience.\\\\r\\\\n\\\\r\\\\nTwo (2) years Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops and Citrix PVS Experience\\\\r\\\\nTwo (2) years system administration experience.\\\\r\\\\nTwo (2) years experience writing documentation or standard operating procedures related to system administration.\\\\r\\\\nTwo (2) years experience in XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Services, VMWare (or HyperV/XenServer), Windows/Citrix Profile Management \\\\r\\\\nOne (1) year experience in functions and features of common Enterprise network infrastructure devices including firewalls, load-balancers, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, and other devices.

Key Responsibilities: * Create, support, and manage application vDisks in Citrix PVS * Perform Citrix administration in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops / DaaS * Understand Citrix group policy and how it appliesEscalates identified issues , risks or problems to lead administrators according to processes. * Ensure appropriate monitoring tools are in place and properly utilized to ensure the integrity and stability of the Enterprise Citrix environment. * Meets service SLA and to drive the delivery of appropriate, sustainable, and prompt solutions. * Provides first level support for Citrix system by troubleshooting and resolving incidents to minimize system issues. Monitors stability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems (e.g., systems, applications, network, databases, storage, security) by analyzing systems to identify issues and problems.

CORE Responsibilities: * This job requires direct interface with end customers and all applicants must be professional with high communication skills and documentation skills as well as process oriented. Candidate will need to be able to assess and interpret customer needs and requirements. * Monitor & resolving incident tickets ensuring prompt and effective solutions and closure. Effectively triage incidents when necessary in accordance to procedures. * Works with other technical support teams as appropriate for support & troubleshooting of issues pertaining to the Citrix enterprise environment. * Continually work to standardize and document existing procedures * Participate In the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve process and workflow for the technicians * Proactively work to improve customer experience and departmental performance * Follow procedures and policies, and applying data and resources to support projects or initiatives. Help create documentation, procedural and otherwise regarding Citrix responsibilities * Continue to improve Citrix operations via new ideas and methods * Participation in the development, planning and execution of large Citrix and other organizaitonal projects * Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date Citrix knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines

Other Requirements

 Supports technical and project team members to help resolve application- specific issues. * Assists in communications with product users and suppliers to share information, identify opportunities, resolve problems, prioritize customer requirements, and maintain continuous improvement through customer feedback. * Adheres to change management processes (Service Now and KPIT). * Supports Citrix hosted application-oriented administration and technical support for production and non-production environments. * Assists with data extraction from various databases for report generation. Assists in the implementation of hardware and software changes into applications hosted on Citrix. * Supports the Citrix maintenance, modification, and documentation of applications hosted on the platform. * Assists in the Citrix installation, upgrade, or decommissioning of designated systems, products, and infrastructure. * Support, plan, and execute Citrix maintenance and technology refresh activities.
