Job Summary

Provide 24x7 L1 support for VMware and Windows infrastructure by monitoring systems, handling incidents, performing routine operational tasks, and ensuring SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor VMware infrastructure (vCenter, ESXi Hosts, VMs). • Perform daily health checks and monitor CPU, Memory, Storage, and Network utilization. • Handle L1 incidents, alerts, and service requests. • Troubleshoot basic VM issues such as power-on, console access, connectivity, and performance. • Create and modify virtual machines as per SOPs. • Monitor datastore capacity and snapshot growth. • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams. • Update incident/change records in ServiceNow or Remedy. • Follow ITIL processes and SLA commitments.

Skill Requirements

Basic knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter. • Understanding of Windows Server administration. • Familiarity with ServiceNow/Remedy and ITIL processes. • Basic troubleshooting of servers, virtualization, storage, and networking. • Good communication and documentation skills. • Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment.
