Job Summary
Middleware Ops – L1 Biztalk IIS
- Monitor middleware environments (IIS /Apache/Tomcat /Biztalk)
- Perform initial triage of incidents and alerts
- Execute standard runbook activities (start/stop, restart services specially Biztalk platform)
- Log and track incidents via ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)
- Perform basic troubleshooting using SOPs and KB articles
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2 with proper diagnostics
- Handle user/service requests (SSL, access, configurations – basic level)
- Basic knowledge of MySQL and Oracle
- Maintain operational dashboards and reports
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Create SOP’s, Knowledge documents for Biztalk and IIS
Middleware Ops – L1 Middleware/Integration
- Monitor middleware environments (WSO2, MQ, TIBCO, APIs, web and app servers)
- Perform initial triage of incidents and alerts
- Execute standard runbook activities (start/stop, restart services)
- Log and track incidents via ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy)
- Perform basic troubleshooting using SOPs and KB articles
- Escalate unresolved issues to L2 with proper diagnostics

Key Responsibilities
Required Skill (Middleware Ops – L1 Biztalk IIS)
- Knowledge about ITIL framework
- Basic knowledge of JBoss, WebLogic, Apache, Tomcat, IIS and Biztalk and other web and app server platforms
- Should have basic understanding of Biztalk Platform
- Certificate lifecycle management basic knowledge
- Able to leverage the observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, DataDog and similar technologies for basic monitoring
- Basic Knowledge of scripting tool like PowerShell or Linux Shell scripting.
- Hands on experience in any of the following
- Application Operations
- Middleware Operations
- Integration Operations (Biztalk in specific)
- Documentation skill for creating SOP’s and runbooks and other documents as need in operations.

- Able to leverage the observability tools like Dynatrace, AppDynamics, DataDog and similar technologies for basic monitoring
- Basic Knowledge of scripting tool like PowerShell or Linux Shell scripting.
- Hands on experience in any of the following
- Application Operations

- Integration Operations
- Documentation skill for creating SOP’s and runbooks and other documents as need in operations.
