Job Summary
Advanced Scheduler - Supply Scheduling and Logistics Coordination
Key Responsibilities
• Lead complex supply scheduling activities for high-impact products, assets, transportation modes, refinery supply, or customer commitment areas.
• Provide advanced scheduler SME support for complex logistics, optimization, stakeholder coordination, and operational decision-making.
• Resolve complex scheduling conflicts, carrier constraints, supply disruptions, inventory imbalances, quality issues, contract execution risks, and operational trade-offs.
• Provide senior commercial judgment on logistics value capture, cost-saving, revenue-generating opportunities, and supply chain improvement initiatives.
• Act as the senior operational liaison across traders, optimizers, refineries, terminals, carriers, third parties, accounting, and internal business functions.
• Guide compliance-sensitive decisions involving credit guidelines, regulatory requirements, quality requirements, transportation policies, contractual obligations, and internal controls.
• Mentor E1.1 / E1.2 schedulers, provide escalation support, standardize scheduling practices, and support capability uplift / knowledge transfer.
• Support cross-asset problem solving, lessons learned, issue prevention, and operational standardization across the scheduler team.
Skill Requirements
• Advanced expertise in fuels, crude, NGL, product, pipeline, chemicals, or bulk liquids scheduling operations.
• Strong command of multi-modal transportation nominations, inventory reliability, contract execution, logistics optimization, and operational risk management.
• Advanced commercial judgment, analytical thinking, decision-making, escalation management, and problem-solving in a 24/7 environment.
• Strong stakeholder leadership across commercial, refinery, terminal, carrier, accounting, third-party, and internal control interfaces.
• Ability to mentor schedulers and provide SME guidance on supply chain areas, logistical capabilities, operating constraints, and controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency preferred where required; ability to work independently within compliance and internal control requirements.
Other Requirements
Language - English
Education - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or relevant technical field; equivalent experience as approved by Buyer.
Experience - 8 - 10 years relevant experience in scheduling bulk liquids movements, refining, pipeline, chemicals, logistics, or related operations.
Shift Timings - 24/7 operations support / rotational or global coverage as per business need
