The role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, governance, and value realization, providing leadership across multiple programs and senior stakeholders.The Senior Portfolio Director ensures the organization is investing in the right initiatives, scaling delivery effectiveness, managing risk, and driving outcomes rather than just outputs.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Portfolio LeadershipOwn and manage the end‑to‑end enterprise or sector portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy and organizational prioritiesTranslate strategic objectives into portfolio roadmaps, investment themes, and funding decisionsAdvise executive leadership on portfolio trade‑offs, prioritization, and risk‑adjusted investment choicesGovernance & Decision ManagementEstablish and lead portfolio governance frameworks, standards, and decision forumsEnsure initiatives meet business case, compliance, and readiness criteria before approvalAct as the final escalation point for portfolio‑level delivery, dependency, and risk issuesValue Delivery & Performance ManagementTrack and report value realization, benefits, KPIs, and ROI across the portfolioEnsure programs are outcomes‑driven, with clear success metrics and benefit ownershipIntervene proactively to course‑correct underperforming initiativesStakeholder & Executive EngagementPartner with C‑suite, business leaders, CIO/CTO organizations, and delivery leadersCommunicate portfolio status, insights, and recommendations in executive‑ready formatsInfluence decision‑making without direct authority across complex stakeholder landscapesResource & Financial OptimizationOversee capacity planning, demand management, and investment optimizationBalance cost, capacity, risk, and strategic impact across competing prioritiesGuide funding allocations and re‑allocations based on performance and strategic needLeadership & Capability BuildingLead and mentor Portfolio Managers, Program Directors, and PMO leadersDrive continuous improvement of portfolio, program, and governance practicesChampion enterprise‑wide adoption of modern delivery models (Agile, Hybrid, Scaled frameworks)
Key Responsibilities
2. To strategize and execute operations towards organizational objectives and support achievement of desired goals and objectives at the NORAM level.
3. To oversee overall P&L and execute strategies to improve account margins & enhance growth of new business.
4. To oversee governance of all risks, issues, BCP/DR strategies and mitigation plans.
