Job Summary

The Snowflake Data Architect leads the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data solutions using Snowflake and related technologies. This role provides architectural leadership, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business strategy. The architect drives innovation, sets technical direction, and enforces data governance, enabling the organization to leverage data assets for strategic advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Snowflake data models and warehouse structures
  • Build and optimize ELT pipelines for transformation at scale
  • Implement data modeling (dimensional/layered architecture)
  • Ensure performance tuning, clustering, and query optimization
  • Develop robust data validation, quality checks, and governance controls
  • Collaborate with upstream ingestion teams to align schemas and pipelines

Skill Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Snowflake (SQL, warehousing, optimization)
  • Experience with data modeling (dimensional / Kimball / ELT)
  • Hands-on in DBT / SQL-based transformations
  • Proven experience building scalable, high-performance data pipelines

Other Requirements

1. Snowflake Snowpro Advanced Architect Certification (Optional But Valuable) 
2. Dbt Certified Developer (Optional But Valuable

 

API
Exposure to ADF / ingestion frameworks
Experience with CI/CD and version-controlled data pipelines
