Snowflake Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Developer at HCL will be responsible for developing solutions using Snowflake, SQL, and Python. The primary objective of this role is to implement, and maintain efficient and reliable code to support business applications and data needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop snowflake data models and pipelines to support business requirements
2. Write complex sql queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
3. Develop and maintain python scripts for automation and data processing tasks
4. Collaborate within team to ensure seamless integration of developed solutions
5. Troubleshoot and debug code to maintain system performance and data accuracy
6. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in snowflake, sql, and python technologies

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in snowflake data warehousing platform
2. Strong sql querying skills for data extraction and manipulation
3. Experience in python programming for developing scripts and automation
4. Understanding of data modeling concepts and etl processes
5. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
6. Good problem-solving and analytical skills
7. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders

Other Requirements

1.SnowPro Core Certification in Snowflake is preferred but not mandatory
Maximum Salary (US):  95000
Minimum Salary (US):  62000

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
