Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead , Data Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake-based cloud data warehousing and modern ELT development using dbt (Core or Cloud), with deep proficiency in advanced SQL, dimensional modeling (Kimball/Data Vault), incremental and snapshot strategies, performance tuning, and cost optimization in Snowflake. The candidate must have experience designing scalable, production-grade ELT pipelines, implementing CI/CD for dbt, integrating orchestration tools, and enforcing data quality through automated testing and observability frameworks. Strong understanding of cloud platforms and security in Snowflake, version control (Git), and DevOps-driven deployment practices is required, along with demonstrated experience leading technical design reviews and mentoring data engineering teams and work in onsite-offshore model mentoring the offshore members to drive delivery. We are looking for a dbt Developer with strong SQL and data modeling experience to build and maintain scalable data transformation solutions on the Snowflake platform. The role involves developing dbt models, tests, macros, documentation, and reusable data assets to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.Experience in Informatica to DBT conversion. 

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain dbt models on Snowflake. Build reliable, tested, and documented data transformation pipelines. Implement data quality checks, lineage, and governance standards. Optimize SQL queries and dbt models for performance and cost. Collaborate with data engineering, BI, analytics, and business teams. Support Git-based development, CI/CD, and deployment processes. Experience in Informatica to DBT conversion.

 

Required Skills:

Strong SQL and data modeling skills. Informatica, Hands-on experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud. Experience working with Snowflake. Knowledge of ELT pipelines, testing, documentation, and version control. Understanding of analytics engineering.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and manage technical teams in the development and implementation of snowflake data solutions.
2. Design, build, and optimize data models using snowflake and dbt for efficient data processing.
3. Develop and optimize sql queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
4. Utilize python for scripting and automation of data processes and workflows.
5. Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the successful delivery of technical solutions.
6. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members to enhance overall technical capabilities.
7. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner to ensure smooth project execution.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in snowflake for data warehousing and cloud data platform.
2. Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.
3. Strong command of sql for querying and manipulating data in databases.
4. Proficient in python programming for scripting, automation, and data manipulation.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
6. Strong leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate technical teams towards project success.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
