Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer specializing in DBT (Data Build Tool) and Snowflake to design, develop, and optimize scalable data transformation pipelines on a modern cloud data platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data warehousing, ELT frameworks, and Snowflake performance optimization, along with the ability to independently own end-to-end data pipeline and migration initiatives.

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ELT pipelines using DBT on Snowflake
- Build modular, reusable, and well-documented DBT models following best practices
- Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, cost, and scalability
- Translate complex business requirements into efficient data models and transformations
- Perform end-to-end migration of legacy ETL jobs (e.g., DataStage) to DBT/Snowflake
- Analyze existing ETL pipelines and redesign them using modern ELT architecture patterns
- Implement data quality checks, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines using DBT
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve pipeline reliability and performance
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best engineering practices
Skill Requirements
Mandatory Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience in data engineering / ETL development
Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on experience with DBT on Snowflake
Strong expertise in:
Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and query optimization
DBT models, macros, snapshots, and testing frameworks
SQL (advanced level)
Solid understanding of:
Data warehousing concepts
ELT vs ETL frameworks
Dimensional data modeling
Experience in end-to-end development and deployment of data pipelines
Ability to independently deliver and own complete modules/migrations
Other Requirements
Nice to Have
DBT certification or Snowflake certification
Experience in healthcare or enterprise data platforms
Exposure to data governance and compliance frameworks
