Job Summary

• Typically requires 8–15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3–5 years specifically in cloud security architecture.
• Must have 7+ years’ experience with   next generation firewalls like Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet etc.
• Develop and implement secure cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) using industry-leading practices and "secure-by-design" principles.
• Lead the design and automation of essential security controls, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), network security (firewalls, micro-segmentation), and data encryption.
• Must have experience modifying firewall rule sets, studying network traffic flows to reverse - engineering the required firewall rules to lock down an application, and troubleshooting firewall problems in an enterprise or service provider environment under short time constraints involving complex network application flows between multiple hosts spanning multiple firewalls and different geographic locations.
• Create high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD) for resilient infrastructure, integrating security into every layer of the technology stack.
• define the enterprise’s security vision, strategy, and measurable roadmaps.
• Perform detailed security risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability analysis to proactively identify and mitigate potential threats.
•  Serve as a high-level advisor during major breaches, guiding technical teams through containment and post-event analysis to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS), micro-segmentation, and secure topologies.
• Proficiency in securing hybrid environments across major providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Mastery of automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Expert knowledge of cloud networking, SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel), and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools.
