Job Summary

The Solution Architect (DFS) plays a crucial role in defining the solution architecture aligned with business requirements and enterprise standards. This position is pivotal in shaping the future state of the organization's IT landscape by conducting thorough assessments, creating architectural views, and ensuring the integration of emerging technologies. The architect will lead initiatives that drive optimization and innovation within data communication frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Domain It Landscape Assessments And Application Portfolio Optimization To Identify Gaps, Ensuring Alignment With Business And Technological Objectives.
2. Create Comprehensive Solution And Architectural Views, Including Logical, Conceptual, Development, Execution, And Infrastructure Architecture For Data Communication Systems.
3. Study And Define System Requirements By Addressing Stakeholder Needs And Portfolio Concerns, Ensuring Effective Communication And Alignment Across The Organization.
4. Manage And Adapt Non-Functional Requirements For Solutions, Ensuring Performance, Reliability, And Security Standards Are Met.
5. Ensure Continuous Knowledge Enhancement By Staying Informed On New And Emerging Products And Technologies Within The Lan/Wan Domain, Integrating Them Into Solution Designs.
6. Contribute To The Development Of White Papers And Technical Documentation, Enhancing The Organization’S Knowledge Base And Promoting Best Practices In Solution Architecture.

Skill Requirements

1. Expert Proficiency In Data Lan/Wan Architecture And Design Principles.
2. Strong Understanding Of Enterprise It Landscape And Optimization Strategies.
3. Solid Knowledge Of Non-Functional Requirements And How They Impact System Architecture.
4. Excellent Analytical Skills For Gap Analysis And Stakeholder Management.
5. Familiarity With Emerging Technologies In Data Communication And Network Architecture.

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
