Job Summary
Responsibilities:
The AMS Solution Architect is responsible for leading (end-to-end ownership) the entire lifecycle of application support deal pursuits—from initial qualification through to deal closure process. This includes crafting solution strategies, designing operating models, estimating effort, leveraging AI / Gen AI for productivity improvements, preparing business cases, developing commercial models, presenting solutions, pricing, and participating in contract negotiations. This includes,
- Analyze customer business needs and articulate compelling value propositions using HCLTech’s service lines offerings to shape RFP responses.
- Design and tailor the operating model for RFP requirements.
- Perform ticket analysis, estimation, AI / Gen AI driven automation planning, and operational transformation for both AMS and AD streams.
- End-to-end solution design for overall RFP requirements, including the development of solution themes and transformation roadmaps.
- Drive internal reviews with Leadership on pursuit strategy, solution design, estimation methods etc.
- Participate the Solution defense with customer meeting either in person or virtually based on RFP requirements.
- Continuously innovate and refine deal differentiators to enhance win rates.
- Inspire and guide the team to deliver standout proposals that differentiate HCLTech in every customer engagement.
Qualification:
- Education – BE / B Tech / MBA
- 10+ years of IT experience including 5+ years of AMS Solution architect experience in managing the Application support and maintenance RFPs
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Experience in AI / Gen AI based ticket automation and elimination propositions with familiarity in industry tools.
- Hands on delivery experience in managing Application support engagements(delivery) would be an advantage.

3. To study and define system requirements addressing stakeholder| portfolio concerns
4. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies
5. To manage Non Functional Requirement adaption for the solution
6. To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base
