Data & AI Principal & Solution SME

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive enterprise Data & AI strategy, architecture, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Partner with C-level stakeholders to align AI and data initiatives with business outcomes.
  • Architect scalable Data, Analytics, AI/ML, and Generative AI solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Lead the design of modern data platforms, including Lakehouse, Data Fabric, Data Mesh, and AI-enabled architectures.
  • Establish architecture standards, governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI practices.
  • Drive AI innovation leveraging LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, MLOps, and LLMOps frameworks.
  • Lead discovery workshops, architecture assessments, solution design, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide technical leadership across delivery, presales, and client engagements.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams while promoting best practices and reusable assets.

Skill Requirements

  • Data Platforms: Analytics and AI-ready Strategy/Solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, and other modern data platform ecosystems.
  • AI & GenAI: Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Vector Databases, Prompt Engineering, AI Governance.
  • Data & Analytics: Data Warehousing, Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Real-Time Analytics, BI, DataOps, MLOps, Python, SQL, Spark.
  • Cloud & Architecture: Azure (preferred), AWS, GCP, Enterprise Architecture, API-led Integration, Microservices, DevSecOps.

Leadership & Success Measures

  • Executive presence, strategic thinking, and stakeholder influence.
  • Successful delivery of Data & AI transformation programs and business value realization.
  • Strong governance, architecture quality, innovation, client satisfaction, and revenue contribution.

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, AI, Cloud, or Enterprise Architecture.
  • 8+ years leading enterprise-scale architecture and transformation programs.
  • Proven success delivering data modernization, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Strong executive stakeholder management, consulting, and communication skills.
