Role: SAP / ERP QE Solution Lead

Experience: 15–20 Years

Profile: ERP Testing & QE Solution Lead for proposals, presales, and delivery (SAP and other major ERP platforms)

Role Summary

Looking for a senior QE professional with deep SAP/ERP testing background who can lead solutioning, presales, and delivery for large ERP transformation and quality engineering engagements. The role covers SAP (ECC/S/4HANA) as well as other major ERP platforms (Oracle Cloud, MS Dynamics, Workday, etc.), spanning implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and managed testing.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solutioning for SAP/ERP testing RFPs/RFIs — test strategy, effort estimation, and commercial constructs
  • Define test strategy for ERP transformation programs: S/4HANA migrations, greenfield/brownfield rollouts, upgrades, and patches
  • Own end-to-end ERP QE delivery — functional, integration, regression, data migration, and UAT support
  • Define and drive ERP test automation strategy using tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft, SAP TAO/CBTA, or equivalent
  • Drive test data management and data masking approaches for ERP landscapes
  • Build ERP QE CoE assets — reusable accelerators, test scenario libraries, and estimation models
  • Present ERP QE solutions to client stakeholders and support orals/due-diligence sessions
  • Coordinate with SAP functional/technical and basis teams to align QE plans with implementation timelines
  • Manage and mentor ERP QE delivery teams across engagements

Skill Requirements

Primary Skills (Must Have)

  • 15–20 years in QA/QE with significant depth in SAP/ERP testing
  • Strong exposure to S/4HANA and core SAP modules (FI, SD, MM, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with ERP-focused test automation tools
  • Proven proposal solutioning, estimation, and presales experience for ERP programs
  • Strong stakeholder management with both business and technical ERP teams
  • Experience managing large, distributed ERP QE delivery teams

Secondary Skills

  • Exposure to other ERP platforms — Oracle Cloud ERP, MS Dynamics, Workday
  • Experience in cloud/digital transformation programs involving ERP
  • DevOps/CI-CD integration for ERP test automation
  • Test data and environment management for large ERP landscapes

  • SAP Activate methodology exposure
  • Awareness of AI/GenAI accelerators for ERP testing
  • Exposure to Agentic AI applied to ERP/QE use cases
  • Relevant SAP or ERP platform certifications
