SAP ESG Technology Architect – Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ESG Technology Architect to lead the design, implementation, and integration of SAP Sustainability and ESG solutions, enabling organizations to achieve regulatory compliance, sustainability goals, carbon transparency, and ESG reporting excellence. The role will define enterprise ESG architectures, sustainability data strategies, and digital transformation roadmaps leveraging SAP's sustainability

  • Experience in Retail, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Utilities, or Automotive sectors

Key Responsibilities

  • Define SAP ESG and Sustainability target architecture and roadmap.
  • Lead design and implementation of SAP Sustainability solutions.
  • Establish ESG data governance, reporting, and compliance frameworks.
  • Architect integrations across SAP and non-SAP enterprise applications.
  • Support regulatory reporting and sustainability disclosure requirements.
  • Drive sustainability transformation initiatives and ESG reporting automation.
  • Provide architectural leadership for global ESG programs.
  • Partner with Sustainability, Finance, Compliance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Technology teams.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 12-18 years of SAP experience.
  • 7+ years in ESG, Sustainability, EHS, Compliance, or Sustainability Reporting programs.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting experience.
  • SAP Sustainability, SAP BTP, S/4HANA, or Enterprise Architecture certifications preferred.
