Role Summary
The Siemens Teamcenter Senior Lead Consultant acts as a solution owner and trusted advisor, with responsibility to understand the customer ecosystem and drive end‑to‑end functional and technical PLM solution flow.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Ecosystem & Solution Ownership
Understand customer engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply‑chain, ERP, MES, and downstream systems. Own PLM roadmap, architecture, and enterprise alignment.
Functional Leadership
Drive requirements discovery, business process definition, EBOM/MBOM, change management, workflows, and compliance models.
Technical & Architecture Leadership
Lead Teamcenter architecture, BMIDE modeling, Active Workspace, ITK/SOA services, customizations, upgrades, and performance optimization.
Integration & Digital Thread
Drive integration across Siemens and non‑Siemens platforms including ERP, MES, CAD, and supplier ecosystems. Ensure data integrity and traceability.
Delivery Governance
Own solution delivery, design reviews, testing cycles, go‑live readiness, and issue resolution.
Leadership & Consulting
Mentor teams, engage senior stakeholders, and provide PLM thought leadership.
Mandatory Skills
Teamcenter, BMIDE, AWC, ITK/SOA, PLM business processes, integration architecture, Linux, databases, Java/C++.
Preferred
Manufacturing domain experience, Siemens certifications, Agile delivery exposure.
Key Responsibilities
1. To assess the domain IT landscape assessment and Application portfolio optimization for gap analysis
2. Creation of solution and architectural views (logical| conceptual| development| execution| infrastructure & operations architecture)
3. To study and define system requirements addressing stakeholder| portfolio concerns
4. To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new and emerging products/technologies
5. To manage Non Functional Requirement adaption for the solution
6. To contribute towards white/technical papers and knowledge base
Job Purpose: The Solution Architect for Teamcenter DEV, Server, Active Workspace is responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of solutions using Teamcenter DEV, Server, and Active Workspace. The primary objective is to provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure successful delivery of Teamcenter solutions.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Designing and architecting solutions utilizing teamcenter dev, server, and active workspace
2. Collaborating with cross functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical recommendations
3. Leading and mentoring development teams in the implementation of teamcenter solutions
4. Conducting regular system analysis, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
5. Ensuring adherence to best practices and standards in solution development
6. Participating in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment
Skill Requirements: 1. Strong expertise in teamcenter development and customization
2. Proficiency in teamcenter server installation, configuration, and administration
3. Experience with active workspace development and customization
4. Deep understanding of plm concepts and methodologies
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
7. Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams<
