Job Description
Your Impact:
You will serve a critical function structuring complex quotes to amend sales order contracts. You will be responsible for analyzing and researching existing customer quotes and contracts to determine the optimal solution to amend the customer performance obligations, create the appropriate invoicing structure, and ensure the modified contract is appropriated reflected in our downstream systems. You will develop a detailed understanding of client's quote-to-cash processes and support several cross functional teams to ensure our amended contracts are accurate and meet our customers’ needs.
This position reports to the Commercial Operations Manager. In addition to working daily with Customer Success Managers and Sales Reps, you will partner with several cross functional teams including Quoting, Order Processing, Finance, Billing and Collections.
What You’ll Do
- Become a subject matter expert in a diverse array of products and develop an extensive understanding of offerings
- Build strong relationships with cross functional partners to prepare accurate contract amendments that align to customer expectations, are in accordance with company policies, and satisfy requirements of downstream processes such as revenue recognition, and billing
- Prepare thorough and accurate research across multiple data sources for existing customers to support the contract amendment process and document conclusions to ensure company policies and internal controls adhered to
- Develop an extensive understanding of Salesforce.com quote-to-cash solution, including opportunity management, customer fulfillment, invoicing, and case management
- Understand the accounting implications of amendments and the financial close process to support cut-off deadlines and accurate financial statement reporting
- Be a flexible and agile member of the team who can shift priorities as needed to succeed as a one team
Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Finance oriented with 3+ years experience in sales operations, quoting, or order processing
- Salesforce.com experience with CPQ, and experience with ERP Financial Solutions
- Experience in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and vlookups
- Operates with a growth mind-set and is always seeking opportunities for improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across various teams and levels

- Strong time management skills, and keen awareness and commitment to deadlines
- Excels working on a team while also taking initiative and ownership of your individual role and deliverables
