Job Summary
The Supplier will provide gameplay development support for Minecraft Game Drops through a multidisciplinary team consisting of Java Engineers, C++ Engineers, and Artists. Work may include gameplay feature development, technical implementation, asset creation, content integration, prototyping, balancing, optimization, testing, bug fixing, telemetry implementation, documentation, and live service support. The team will collaborate with Microsoft stakeholders throughout the full development lifecycle, from concept exploration and production through launch and post-release support, to deliver high-quality gameplay experiences across both Minecraft Java Edition and Minecraft Bedrock Edition. and support the Sweden time zone but the employee doesn't have to be in sweden.
strong Experience in Core Java and advance Java
JVM & Performance - example not limited to JVM architecture, Garbage collection, Allocation patterns, GC pauses, CPU memory thread profiling
Strong in Data Structures & Algorithms
Experience in Gaming domain
Should be able to debug, troubleshoot issues quickly
Able to adapt and learn to new skills quickly
Experience with GitHub copilot or other Vibe coding tools
